ST PAUL'S Anglican Church in Castle Hill will run its 16th annual study camp in the second week of the July school holidays.
It is open to all Hills HSC students and will be held at Rouse Hill Anglican College.
The camp started in 1993 with 12 students and has continued to swell, with about 60 HSC students expected to take part in the week-long study fest.
This year's camp will run from July 20 to 24 from 9am to 9pm.
But the camp isn't just about keeping students' noses to the grindstone.
While there will be a minimum of five hours of compulsory study time each day, there will also be plenty of fun to ensure everybody stays fresh and keeps a sense of perspective to help prevent stress.
Activities will include outings such as bowling as well as games and time to socialise.
``The aim of the week is to support our young people as they head into the HSC season, but to also provide a sense of community so that they can feel that they are cared for,'' St Paul's youth minister Rod Bishop said.
Students won't simply hit the books in silence there will be seminars by teachers, optional personal tutoring and plenty of study rooms.
Morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner will also be provided to fuel those brain cells.
Study Camp will cost $165, which will cover all costs, including meals and outings.
Registrations close Friday, July 3. Details: 88581111.
