Christmas Parade at Rouse Hill Town Centre

10 Nov, 2009 02:28 PM
CHRISTMAS is coming, and north-

west residents will kick off the

festive season this weekend with

a parade and concert at Rouse

Hill Town Centre to celebrate the

arrival of Santa.

The parade, which will start at the Caddies Creek end of Main Street and finish in Market

Square, will feature a host of

traditional Christmas characters,

the stars of the Wild Aussies show

and Max and Millie from New

McDonald's Farm.

The Man From Snowy River will

lead the parade accompanied by

a ``Christmas band''.

Local performing groups will

also be part of the parade, which

will start at 11am on Saturday. As the parade

converges on Market Square,

revellers can meet the characters

from the parade and enjoy a

Christmas concert until 3pm.

Rouse Hill Town Centre's general manager Martin Ollis said: ``We are very excited about Christmas here at Rouse Hill Town Centre and hope our visitors enjoy their experience and the special events we have over the season''.
