A 31-year-old man has been found dead by his wife at their home in Sydney's north-west overnight, police say.
Police said they were called to the home, at Caratel Crescent at Marayong, by the man's wife about midnight.
``He has what appears to be stab wounds [to the chest],'' said Inspector Brett Bellis from Quakers Hill police.
``He was discovered by his wife when she returned home from work."
It was too early to say whether there were any signs of a scuffle or a break-in, or to speculate on possible motives, Inspector Bellis said.
Police were treating the incident as a murder and the Homicide Squad was assisting in the investigation, he said.
