NORTH West Hurricanes District Cricket Club and Tigers Cricket Club hosted a charity match on Friday at Bruce Purser Reserve, Rouse Hill.
The combined XI team of the Hurricanes and the Tigers took on the Australian Transplant Cricket Club (pictured in green and gold) to raise funds for organ transplant research.
The match was a 40 over a side match as part of The David Hookes Tribute Series. All of the players in the ATCC have had an organ transplant.
The match also featured NSW Women's Cricket team members Alex Blackwell and captain Lisa Sthalekar.
The Hurricanes will also host the first ever official day-night cricket match to be held in The Hills on Sunday. The Hurricanes will tackle South Sydney Rabbitohs in round two of the under 24 Frank Gray Shield.
