Possession is nine-tenths of awe

THE Pennant Hills Demons premier division side were outclassed by determined East Coast Eagles at Bruce Purser Reserve, Rouse Hill on Sunday, June 21 (game pictured).

Poor shooting for goal by East Coast Eagles enabled Pennant Hills to establish an early first quarter lead and goals to Damian Dell'Aquila and Daniel De Looze gave the Demons a six-point advantage, 2.2 to 0.8.

However, Pennant Hills were unable to kick their third and final goal until deep into the last term, while the Eagles soon found their goal-kicking range, running out convincing 29-point winners, 8.13 (61) to 3.14 (32).

More recently at the weekend games, East Coast won against Sydney Uni 17.15 (117) to 11.10 (76) and Pennant Hills lost to the Bulldogs 19.8 (122) to 13.6 (84).

On Saturday, Pennant Hills host Sydney University at Ern Holmes and the Eagles are at Bruce Purser against Campbelltown.
